MDWID accepts multiple Online and In-Person payment options, including Credit/Debit Cards, Checks, Money Orders, and Cash payments.

​Bills, including all applicable fees and state sales tax are due by the 10th of each month. Bills will be considered delinquent one (1) calendar day after due date. After the delinquent date, MDWID may, upon twenty-eight (28) calendar days after the billing date, shut off service to the MDWID Customer whose bill is delinquent. Water will be restored when balance is paid in full plus a turn on fee of $45.00.

​Billing FAQ'S

​When may I expect to receive my water bill?
Water bills are normally mailed out at on the 20th of the month after the meter reads are completed and the bills have been adjusted accordingly. This may vary slightly month to month depending on weather, holidays, and other circumstances.

When is the bill due?
The due date is the 10th day of the month and is printed on each water bill. Payment must be received on or before the due date or late charges will be applied. 

There are late charges on my bill, why? 
If you see late charges on your bill, your previous payment(s) were not received by the due date. The Mayer Domestic Water Improvement District (MDWID) rates and fees are posted on the District’s website.

May I sign up to receive my bills via email? 
Once you have an online payment account you will be able to choose to receive your water bills via email and opt in for paperless billing.

How do I make a water bill payment?
MDWID offers multiple payment methods:

• In-person payments
  • ​​You can visit the MDWID office at 12994 E. Central Ave. to pay in-person with cash, money order, check, credit, or debit card. You can also drop off payments in the secured metal drop box outside the front gate.
• Online payments
  • Through the online payment account you will be able to:
    • View General billing information – billing dates, penalty dates, current balances, etc.
    • View payment and billing history
    • Make a payment
    • Sign up for recurring payment options
    • Sign up to receive various account e-notices
• Pay by phone
  • ​You can call  928-662-9044 to pay by phone with a credit or debit card.
• US Mail
  • ​Please mail your payment well in advance of the due date. MDWID does NOT honor postmarks. MDWID late charges apply if the payment is not received by the due date. Please make checks and money orders payable to "Mayer Water District" and include your account number as printed on your bill.
