The Mayer Domestic Water Improvement District (MDWID) is an active water improvement district
created primarily to serve the domestic (residential) water needs of our community.

About MDWID
MDWID is located in the pleasant rural community of Mayer, approximately 20 miles south of Prescott Valley, AZ, off of Highway 69. The population of this unincorporated community is 1450 people. The water system was privately owned before it became an improvement district (MDWID) on May 14th, 1990. The District boundary includes most the the town of Mayer and areas in Poland Junction.
Board of DirectorsThe District is governed by a five member Board of Directors, these members are voted into office during the November general elections. Board meetings are held once a month on the fourth Thursday each month and are open to the public.

September 16, 2024 Public Opening and review of the bids, check on the bonding and insurance, review the costs, quantities, references, etc. at Mayer DWID Offices at 10:00 am AZ Time
September 20, 2024 Identify low responsible bid; contact references
September 26, 2024 Contract Award at Mayer DWID Board Meeting 6:00 pm AZ Time
October 8, 2024 Complete Contracts (signing, bonds, dates, etc.,)

Please note that this project is still in development until August 2024, and not all of the meter reading devices have been installed. Also, there will be a delay after we install the meter reading device before readings are available. EyeOnWater won't show accurate meter readings until the meter turns on and syncs.
